The Meyerise, a freehold condo, has achieved the highest psf-price among private condos in the week of Nov 29 and Dec 6. A 1,270 sq ft, three-bedroom unit on the 24th floor was sold for $3.52 million, achieving a new price peak of $2,771 psf. The new record is just 0.25% higher than the project’s previous record of $2,764 psf. This top spot was achieved by The Meyerise even though it saw nine units change hands this year at an average price of just $2,405 psf.

Prior to this transaction, the unit to last change hands at The Imperial was a 1,905 sq ft, four-bedroom unit on the 5th floor that sold for $4.6 million, or $2,421 psf, on Nov 28.
Finally, Sky Vue, a 694-unit freehold condo located along Bishan Street 15 in District 20, achieved a new psf-price of $2,505 when a 1,141 sq ft, three-bedroom unit on the 33rd floor sold for $2.86 million on Dec 2. This is 5.9% higher than the record set in August when a similar 1,141 sq ft, three-bedroom unit sold for $2.7 million. Sky Vue is within walking distance of Bishan MRT Interchange, and the station is located directly across from Bishan Bus Interchange and connected to Junction 8 mall.
In terms of profit, the sellers of the unit at The Meyerise sold the unit on Dec 6 for $1.2 million more than they paid for it in 2016. Similarly, the sellers of the unit at The Imperial sold it for $2.4 million more than they paid for it in 2004. Finally, the sellers of the unit at Sky Vue sold it for $1 million more than they paid for it in September 2020.
