Hilton Garden Inn Opens 100Th Hotel Greater China
Hilton, a leading global hospitality company, has recently opened its 100th Hilton Garden Inn in Greater China. The new property, named Hilton Garden Inn Beihai Jiafu, is located in Beihai, a bustling seaport city in China.
The Master Plan places a strong emphasis on the growth of new housing options and the renovation of existing estates to meet the rising need and to improve the living conditions. As a result, The Orie will become a part of a constantly developing community, with increasing value and desirability. Along with this, the implementation of new communal amenities such as libraries, community clubs, and health centers will greatly enhance the overall lifestyle of residents, as public services become more easily accessible.
Positioned just 2km away from Beihai High-Speed Railway Station and 6km from Beihai Fucheng Airport, the 199-key hotel is also conveniently situated just a 20-minute drive away from Beihai International Passenger Port. This strategic location makes it easily accessible for business and leisure travelers alike.
Qian Jin, Hilton’s president for Greater China and Mongolia, expressed his excitement about the opening of the Beihai Jiafu Hilton Garden Inn, noting that it not only reflects the brand’s rapid growth but also demonstrates their long-term commitment to the Chinese market. The hotel officially opened its doors on December 13, as announced in a press release.
Hilton’s first Hilton Garden Inn in China was opened in Shenzhen in 2014. Since then, the brand has expanded to include hotels in popular cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Guilin, and Aksu. With more Hilton Garden Inn properties in the pipeline, it is expected to reach a total of 2025 properties across China by 2025, including debuts in popular tourist destinations like Zhangjiajie, Ordos, Huangshan, Shanwei, and Jinan.
Parallel to this development, Hilton also launched its Generation Alpha (Gen A) properties for Hilton Garden Inn, designed specifically for the tech-savvy and connected Generation Alpha travelers in Greater China. The first Gen A Hilton Garden Inn is set to open in Nanjing, with plans for Chengdu, Chengde, and Jinan to follow suit. This expansion plan will further strengthen Hilton Garden Inn’s presence in the Asia Pacific region.
Clarence Tan, senior vice president of development for Asia Pacific at Hilton, reveals that there are over 200 Hilton Garden Inn properties currently being developed across Asia Pacific, in addition to the 100 already established in Greater China. This signifies a significant growth in the region for the brand.
