10 Best Selling New Private Residential Projects 2024

Sales of new launches in the Rest of Central Region (RCR) and Outside Central Region (OCR) have dominated 2024’s list of best-selling projects. This is due to the strong demand from upgraders, supported by a robust HDB resale market, according to Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia.

Of the top 10 best-selling projects, three were launched in November, further emphasizing the trend of strong sales in the RCR and OCR regions. Topping the list is Emerald of Katong, with 99% of its 846 units sold in just two days, from Nov 15-16. This makes it the best-selling project of 2024. As of Dec 17, there are only six available units left.

Interested buyers can search for the latest new launches to find out the transaction prices and available units. Following closely behind is Chuan Park, with 696 units (76%) sold in a single day on Nov 10. As of Dec 17, the project has been 79% sold. The high sales were driven by the scarcity of new private condo launches in the neighborhood since The Scala in 2010.

In third place is Lentor Mansion, which saw a 75% take-up rate during its launch weekend in March. Nine months later, the project has sold 92% of its units. Next is Nava Grove, which achieved a 65% take-up rate during its launch weekend in mid-November. As of Dec 17, the project was almost 70% sold.

Ranking fifth is Norwood Grand, with 291 of its 348 units (84%) sold since its launch in October. In sixth place is Hillhaven, which debuted in January and sold 50 units. As of Dec 17, it has sold 259 units (76%). The 276-unit freehold Kassia on Flora Drive comes in seventh, with 180 units (65%) sold to date.

Lentoria, with 177 units sold (66%) since its launch in March, takes the eighth spot. In ninth place is Sora, with 134 units (30%) sold at Jurong Lake District’s Yuan Ching Road. Rounding out the top 10 is the freehold Meyer Blue, which sold 131 units (58%) of its 226 units through private sales.

Four projects launched in 2023 have also seen significant sales momentum in the second half of 2024. Each has sold over 200 units thanks to new developments in the area, which have garnered attention back to the neighborhood.

The Continuum, a freehold development with 816 units on Thiam Siew Avenue, was the biggest beneficiary of Emerald of Katong’s launch. The project sold 233 units in 2024, with almost 60% of the sales occurring since November. This brought its total take-up rate to 66% since its launch in May 2023.

Similarly, Tembusu Grand, located across the road from Emerald of Katong, also saw a boost from its proximity. The 638-unit project sold 53% of its units during its launch weekend in April 2023. It sold 204 units this year, and as of Dec 17, it was 91% sold. Another project that gained from being nearby to a popular launch was Hillock Green, located in Lentor Hills Estate. With 217 units sold this year, it has seen a total of 359 units (76%) sold since its launch in November 2023.

Last but not least, Pinetree Hill, with 208 units sold this year, has seen a cumulative 374 units (72%) sold since its launch in September 2024. The project saw a surge in sales following the release of its second phase of units in September and was also aided by the launch of Nava Grove in November, which brought attention to the District 21 residential enclave.
