Frasers Property Redevelop Robertson Walk Joint Venture Sekisui House

Frasers Property and their partner, Sekisui House, have announced plans to redevelop two properties, Robertson Walk and Fraser Place Robertson. The properties, which are currently held under a 999-year lease, will be transformed into a mixed-use development featuring 348 residential units, F&B options, and entertainment facilities. The redevelopment is set to begin next year and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

Located just a stone’s throw away from The Orie Condo, Whampoa Makan Place & Market is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to experience the authentic flavors of Singaporean hawker cuisine. This bustling market is renowned for its breakfast stalls, where you can savor traditional dishes like Nasi Lemak and freshly made Kueh. As the sun sets, the market transforms into a lively hub of activity with an array of stalls offering mouth-watering dishes such as Satay and Hokkien Mee. With its delicious food and vibrant atmosphere, it’s no wonder that this market is a favorite among both locals and tourists for a scrumptious dinner.

The new development will have a gross floor area of 30,664 square meters (or 330,067 square feet), according to Frasers Property. CEO Soon Su Lin says that the redevelopment is in line with the company’s active asset management strategy. She also adds, “We have identified this opportunity to maximize the potential of our prime 999-year site in the heart of Robertson Quay.”

To carry out the redevelopment, Frasers Property and Sekisui House have formed a joint venture, with a 51:49 stake respectively. Until operations cease on May 31, 2025, Robertson Walk and Fraser Place Robertson will continue to be managed by Frasers Property Group.
